The HOELLL articulating mount is aimed at exactly that: 26 to 55 inch screens, on an arm that reaches out and folds back.
This listing carries no manufacturer specification block, so the figures below are taken from the product description rather than from a specification table. That is worth knowing for a load bearing product. The described specification is a steel bracket for VESA patterns from 75 by 75 up to 400 by 400 millimetres, screens up to 77 pounds, tilt of plus 10 and minus 5 degrees, 180 degrees of swivel, 360 degrees of rotation, and an arm extending to 16.7 inches and retracting to 2.8 inches.
The reach is what you are paying for
Sixteen and a half inches of extension is a substantial arm for this size class. It is enough to bring a screen clear of an alcove, past the corner of a chimney breast, or out over the foot of a bed. Retracted to 2.8 inches, the same mount sits close enough to the wall to read as a fixed installation when the arm is folded.
That range is the entire point of a full motion mount and it is also its main cost. An arm that reaches 16.7 inches applies far more leverage at the wall plate than a tilting bracket does, and the further out the screen goes the harder the top fixings are pulled. It is why articulating mounts are rated conservatively compared with tilting ones, and why the 77 pound figure here is lower than the 120 pounds a low profile bracket of the same size class carries.
Single stud mounting and the wall it needs
The description specifies single stud installation with a removable television plate, so the screen attaches to the plate first and then hooks onto the wall bracket. That is the correct design for one person installation and it is the feature that makes a full motion mount practical to fit alone.
Single stud concentrates the entire load into one piece of timber, and with a 16.7 inch arm that load is not modest. Locate the stud with a detector and confirm it with a pilot hole. Use the fixings supplied for a timber stud, not hollow wall anchors. Do not fit an articulating mount to plasterboard alone under any circumstances, whatever an anchor package claims, and if the wall is masonry, use the correct anchors for that substrate rather than the timber screws in the box. The manufacturer instructions are the authority; a review is not. If the wall genuinely cannot take it, a flush mount into two studs or a floor standing unit is the answer rather than a stronger fixing.
Tilt of plus 10 and minus 5, and what it corrects
Ten degrees of downward tilt is a moderate amount, and on an articulating mount it does a different job than it does on a fixed bracket. Because the arm can already bring the screen forward and turn it, the tilt is mostly there to kill reflections from a ceiling light or a window rather than to correct a high mounting position. If the screen has to go high, an arm that pulls it forward and then tilts does more for the viewing angle than tilt alone.
The five degrees in the opposite direction is a levelling adjustment. Walls in older houses lean, studs are not always plumb, and a screen fixed to a bracket on an out of true wall will hang with its top edge closer to or further from the wall than its bottom. Being able to tip the panel back slightly corrects that. It is the sort of small allowance that separates a bracket designed by somebody who has fitted one from a bracket designed from a drawing, and it is worth having even though nobody buys a mount for it.
Rotation, and what it is really for
Three hundred and sixty degrees of rotation puts the screen in portrait orientation. On a television that is close to useless, since almost no broadcast or streaming content is portrait. On a monitor it is genuinely valuable, and this mount's VESA range starting at 75 by 75 millimetres means it will take a computer display as readily as a small television.
The more practical everyday use of rotation is levelling. A wall bracket fitted to a stud that is slightly out of plumb will hang a screen a degree or two off, and a rotating plate lets you correct that without re drilling. It is the least glamorous use of the feature and the one most owners actually rely on.

There is no manufacturer specification table on this listing at all: no steel gauge, no finish type, no bracket dimensions, no product weight, no model level detail beyond the marketplace identifier. That is a wide gap for a product that holds a heavy object on a wall.
No test standard or certification body is named for the 77 pound rating, and the description does not say whether that rating applies at full extension or only retracted. For an articulating arm those are very different numbers and the difference is the one that matters. There is no minimum stud width, no fixing specification, no guidance for metal studs, and no warranty term.
The swivel figure of 180 degrees carries the same size dependency that every articulating mount does: a 55 inch screen will foul the wall well before a 32 inch one reaches the quoted angle, and the description does not acknowledge it. Treat the swivel number as an upper bound for the smallest screens in the range.
Who it suits and who should look elsewhere
It suits a mid size screen that has to move, on a wall with an accessible timber stud, where the owner is comfortable checking the manufacturer instructions and working conservatively inside the stated limits. The reach and the rotation range are competitive for the size class, and the removable plate makes a solo installation realistic.
